O.

Studentessa Universitaria

O. was born in Italy in 2000. Her parents are Albanian, she has a younger sister and she gained a diploma in 2018 from the Art School. Currently her priority is looking for a job that will allow her to continue her university studies and financially help her family. The latter maintains lively relations with its country of origin by returning every year for the summer holidays. O. does not seem to be a very integrated girl in the social fabric: perhaps because of her shyness she tends to isolate herself from the rest of her peers. We hope that this opportunity, through sport, will help her overcome her insecurities. She would like to practice pole dance.

She currently lives with his father, while his mother, for working reasons, has returned to her country of origin. E. attends high school and she studies human sciences and expresses the intention to continue hes studies in the pedagogical / humanistic field. She tells us that she has always been a shy girl and that she has never bonded much with her peers. Currently she does not practice any sport but thanks to ToGetTher(E) she would like to have the opportunity to enroll in a fitness course. We believe that this experience can help E. to open up to new acquaintances and to overcome the insecurities that could make her relationships with others difficult.

F.

Studente Universitario

F. was born in Italy in 2000 to an Italian father and an Ethiopian mother. The father passed away in November 2019 while the mother currently resides in England for working reasons. Therefore, F. lives in his father’s house alone, demonstrating, a great sense of responsibility despite his young age. He holds a degree as an accountant and finished the first year of university at the faculty of economics. Although it emerges from the interview that his passion is attributable to the IT field, F. tells us that the choice to undertake the faculty of economics was dictated by the prospect of a more certain job. For many years he has practiced martial arts, and through this project he would like to start a fitness course. We believe that this experience can be useful for F. to distract himself from the responsibilities that life events presented him early on.

K. He was born in Albania in 2003 and moved to Italy at the age of six with his parents, both Albanians. He currently lives with his mother, following the separation of the latter with his father, which took place three years ago. He attends the professional school with a hydraulic address. K. shows attitudes little inclined to respect the rules and an exuberant temperament. In our opinion, certain behaviors could be due to family events prior to the separation of the parents. Currently he does not practice any sport and through this project he would like to practice kick-boxing.

M. was born in 2005 of Moroccan parents, she has a younger sister and two older ones. His family has lived in Italy for many years. He attended the Institute for Surveyors. His grandparents still live in Morocco and therefore M. and his family return there once a year for the holidays. M. is well integrated into the social fabric, even if she seems to have a rather shy character. M.’s family is an excellent example of good integration: his father is active at an association level, being part of the Civil Protection of the city where he lives. The daughters were raised, despite coming from an observant Islamic family, free in the life choices that concerned them. M. would like to practice kick-boxing.
